Swisse Wins AHRI 2015 Workplace Wellness Award
Swisse Wellness is proud to receive the Martin Seligman Award for Health and Wellness in the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) Awards for 2015.
The Martin Seligman Award for Health and Wellbeing recognises outstanding strategies and initiatives promoting the health and wellbeing of team members in the workplace.
Catherine Crowley, Swisse Director of People and Culture, said, “It’s an honour to receive this award as recognition for the priority we place on the health and wellness of our team. At Swisse we truly care about our people and they are our number one.
Not only is a ‘happy and healthy’ team fundamental for achieving business goals, it is what makes our brand great – we practice what we preach.”
As a Wellness company, Swisse considers the wellbeing of its team to be paramount. Swisse demonstrated its commitment to upholding its “4Ps” Values – of People, Principles, Passion before Profit – at the beginning of 2015 when the company leaders created a Culture Plan that articulates the initiatives in place to develop, support, engage and reward Swisse’s most precious asset – the team. This includes providing their team with tools to maintain or improve their health and wellbeing, including: meditation training and twice daily meditation sessions, onsite gym with personal trainer, kitchen stocked with healthy breakfast and snack options, as well as monthly H&H days where the team have a Friday or Monday off work, to relax or complete life admin tasks that are difficult to manage when you work fulltime.
